Breve curriculumI received his Master degree in Computer Science on March 2009 at the University of Udine with full marks, with a thesis titled "virtual reality-based rehabilitation: state of the art, proposal of a system for gait rehabilitation, and clinic evaluation". From August 17th, 2009, to August 16, 2010, and from September 16th, 2010, to December 15, 2010, I was a temporary research assistant at the HCI Lab of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Udine, within the FIRB project RBIN04M8S8 "E-Dvara: E-Content Platform for Heritage and Science" (2007-2010), financed by the MIUR, with the research topic "Innovative techniques for natural interaction with virtual environments and their application in museums and for the diffusion of cultural heritage". From January 1st, 2011, I am a Ph. D. Student in Computer Science at the University of Udine. From February 16th, 2011 to May 15th, 2011, I was a temporary research assistant at the HCI Lab of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Udine, within the project "Servizi avanzati per il soccorso sanitario al disabile basati su tecnologie ICT innovative", co-financed by the Regione Autonoma Friuli-Venezia Giulia, with the topic "Design, development and evaluation of an adaptive interface based on physiological signals, and its application to emergency training in virtual reality". From January 1st, 2012 I am a temporary research assistant at the University of Udine with the research topic "Virtual reality for training: proposal and evaluation of an adaptive system based on automatic user's stress detection using physiological sensors".
Attività di ricercaMy major research interests are in the areas of human-computer interaction, psychophysiology, serious games and use of physiological parameters for user's emotion detection.
