How requestes a account for department services

Users can request (or renew) the account for accessing to tehcnical services (email, printers,...) by this form:

• for guesses (needs the approval of Head of Department)
• for reasearchers and docents
• for students (needs the approval of Head of Department and of a docent)

Compile the form and give it to mrs. Chiara Maltese.

Email

The email is give to user by the request of an account. Your email will be: firstname.lastname@dimi.uniud.it. You can read the email by webmail or you can configure your email client (see configuration page).

Request space on WEBHOUSING

WEBHOUSING can be used for creating sites for projects of research or conferences. With the website hosting you can request:

• an alias with this form alias.dimi.uniud.it;
• DB postgres or mysql
• php 5
• python
• othes by request

Compile the module of request a webspace.

Backup

The system backup every day all files on user's home directory. For recovering ask to mrs. Chiara Maltese.
