Others relevant experiences:
During my studies I had two possibilities to experience living and studying in foreign countries. For the first I was in Helsinki (Finland) from 01.08.2005 to 31.08.2005. There I followed the course network Management" at the polytechnic of EVTEK. During the second time I lived in Trondheim (Norway) for six months form 01.08.2007 to 20.12.2007 thanks to the ERASMUS project. There I followed the course "Algorithms for Bioinformatics". In both times I had the opportunity to improve my English level.
Attivita' di ricerca
I'm concentrating my research on de novo Assembly using short reads, with the aim of assemble a complete genome at a fraction of time and cost of Sanger method based technologies. I'm intrested in string matching problems and on their application to bioinformatics
