Seminario: A simple proof of Sprindzhuk's decomposition theorem
Il prof. Yuri Bilu, dell'Universita' di Bordeaux, terra' un seminario dal titolo "A simple proof of Sprindzhuk's decomposition theorem". Sunto: Let F(x,y) in Q[x,y] be a Q-irreducible polynomial satisfying F(0,0)=0 and F_y(0,0)\neq 0. Sprindzhuk (1979) proved that the specialized polynomial F(p,y) is then Q-irreducible for all but finitely many primes. Recently David Masser and me found a very simple proof of this remarkable theorem, as well as for the more general "Sprindzhuk's decomposition theorem". This proof will be the subject of my talk.
